Tennessee Volunteers sophomore wide receiver Jauan Jennings hauled in a 43-yard Hail Mary from senior quarterback Joshua Dobbs on the final play of a stunning 34-31 victory against No. 25 Georgia on Saturday.

Georgia appeared to have won the game after a 47-yard touchdown pass from freshman quarterback Jacob Eason to freshman wide receiver Riley Ridley with 10 seconds left in the game.

ESPN Stats and Info estimated the Vols had a 0.23 percent to win the game after Georgia’s touchdown pass, which put the Bulldogs ahead 31-28.

10Sports Director Patrick Murray couldn’t find another touchdown that gave the Vols a victory on the final play of regulation.

Tennessee has completed a Hail Mary pass before.

Vols quarterback Casey Clausen completed a 48-yard pass to James Banks just before halftime in a 24-10 win at Florida on Sept. 21, 2003.

Defensive back Eric Gordon intercepted Jordan Rodgers pass for a 90-yard return touchdown on the final play came in a 27-21 overtime win against Vanderbilt at Neyland Stadium. The play marked the last time a Tennessee game ended on a touchdown before Saturday’s game against Georgia.

Tennessee win 41-38 six-overtime thriller against Arkansas in 2002

Tight end Jason Witten caught a 25-yard touchdown pass from Casey Clausen in the sixth overtime to give Tennessee a 41-38 home win over Arkansas on Oct. 5, 2002.

Arkansas beat Ole Miss 58-57 in a record seven-overtime game on Nov. 3, 2001.
