Tennessee’s baby-faced basketball team got its first 40 minutes of game action Thursday night at Thompson-Boling Arena. For the most part, visiting Slippery Rock stayed out of the way.

Robert Hubbs scored a team-high 14 points and freshmen John Fulkerson and Jordan Bone both reached double-figures, helping the Vols roll past exhibition-opponent Slippery Rock 83-48.

Fulkerson came off the bench to score 10, all on dunks, and Bone, who started at point guard in his Tennessee debut, scored 11.
