The Associated Press ranked the University of Tennessee as the 38th best men’s college basketball team of all time.

The AP formula counted poll appearances (one point each) and No. 1 rankings (two points each) to determine the all-time top 100 teams. The news agency has ranked the best teams in college basketball since January 1949.

Tennessee gathered 243 points using the formula.

Kentucky had the top spot with 1,111 points.
