It's finally football time in Tennessee, though Vol fans will have to wait a few extra days to see the Big Orange take the field for the 2017 season.
Tennessee will play Georgia Tech on Labor Day, Sept. 4, in the the sold-out Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
The game will be televised at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
Tennessee and Georgia Tech have faced off 43 times with the Vols leading the series 24-17-2. UT has won the last five games, including their last meeting in 1987 when the Vols took a 29-15 win over the Yellow Jackets in Neyland Stadium.
