Vols begin spring practice

The Tennessee Volunteers began spring practice on Tuesday. There are a ton of new faces and with the new year come a few new storylines to look out for.

1. How will practice and the Orange and White game be different under new head coach Jeremy Pruitt? What will the offense look like and who fits at what position in Pruitt's 3-4 defense.

2. Position changes. Tyler Byrd and Carlin Fils-Aime are flipping from offense to defense. How will they look at their new positions and will there be any other position changes?

3. Quarterback. For the second year in a row the quarterback position is up for grabs. Two of the competitors for the job won't be here until the summer, that's freshman J-T Shrout and graduate transfer from Stanford Kelly Chryst. We'll see plenty of Jarrett Guarantano and Will McBride though, will either one separate himself early on in the new offense?

Tennessee will hold its annual Orange and White Game on April 21 at 2 p.m.
