Justin Ammons slid in just ahead of the tag and Tennessee walked off with a 5-4 win over no. 13 Auburn on Saturday night, thanks to an Andre Lipcius sacrifice fly in the tenth inning.

The Vols (18-14, 4-10 SEC) evened the series after a ninth inning comeback attempt fell short in a 3-2 loss on Friday.

Tennessee tied Saturday's game on another sac fly in the eighth, with Matt Waldren driving in Jordan Rodgers.

The Vols are now 4-1 in extra-inning games, with three of those wins coming in the last week.

Tennessee's bullpen allowed only three hits and one unearned run in 6.1 innings. Freshman from Sevier County, Zach Linginfelter struck out five in three innings and Jon Lipinski K'd five in 2.1 innings. Vols pitchers combined to strike out a season-high 15 batters.

The rubber game is Saturday at 2 p.m. at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.  Lefty Zach Warren (2-3, 5.94 ERA) will take the mound for Tennessee against the Tigers' Davis Daniel (2-2, 4.86).
