After wins over Florida and South Carolina, the Lady Vols end the regular season at No. 12 in the latest AP Poll. It's a three spot jump from last week, when Tennessee landed at No. 15.
It's a good place for Tennessee to be at, the top 16 seeds in the NCAA tournament will host the first two rounds.
The Lady Vols finish the regular season as the third highest SEC team in the poll, behind No. 2 Mississippi State and No. 8 South Carolina.
While No. 12 in the AP Poll, the Lady Vols finish at seventh in the conference going into the SEC Tournament. Tennessee will play 10-seed Auburn on March 1 in Auburn, tip off is 7 p.m. EST.
