Lady Vols start off SEC Tournament against Auburn

Tennessee starts, what it hopes to be, a long run in Nashville against the Tigers.

The Lady Vols will be looking for its fourth straight SEC Tournament title when playing in Nashville. It all starts with a rematch against the Auburn Tigers.

The last time Tennessee played Auburn, a tie game with just about two minutes left turned into a 11-point win for the Lady Vols in Thompson-Boling arena.

Turnovers will be a major key tonight. The Lady Vols have struggled all season holding onto the ball, giving it up 16.6 times per game, good for 230th in the nation. Auburn, on the other hand, leads the SEC in steals per game.

A bit of history to watch out for; if Mercedes Russell records a double-double against Auburn, she will tie Lady Vol great Candace Parker for second all-time on the career double-double list on Rocky Top.

Tip off is at 7:00 p.m. EST, the game will be broadcast on SEC Network.
