Farragut grad and Brewers prospect Nick Delmonico has been suspended for 50 games by the commissioner's office, which says delmonico tested positive for an amphetamine.

The 22-year old third baseman was hitting .262 with four homers for the Brewers Single-A team in Brevard County, FL.

Delmonico is the son of former Vols coach Rod Delmonico.

Delmonico began the year as the sixth best prospect in the Milwaukee organization according to mlb.com.

He was originally drafted by Baltimore in the sixth round back in 2012, and shipped to the Brewers last year as part of a deal for Francisco Rodriguez.
