The Tennessee Vols may have been the decisive winners of the biggest game in college football history, but some analysts aren't quite convinced of the Vols prowess.

Tennessee (2-0) fell one position to No. 15 in USA Today Sports' Amway Coaches Poll after its 45-24 victory over the Virginia Tech Hokies (1-1) at the Battle at Bristol. The drop was largely due to impressive week two performances by the Louisville Cardinals and Wisconsin Badgers.

The Vols still impressed many with their performance in Bristol, managing to turn around some criticism and doubt over the their offensive performance after last week's overtime victory against Appalachian State (1-1).

Tennessee was ranked No. 15 in the AP Poll. The team moved up two spots from No. 17 last week, which put the Vols back on top as the highest ranked SEC East team. The Georgia Bulldogs plummeted from last week's No. 9 ranking to No. 16.

Despite the slight drop, the Vols have plenty to boast ahead next week's home game against the Ohio Bobcats (1-1) after beating the Hokies in front of a record-shattering crowd of 156,990 people.

The Alabama Crimson Tide (2-0) has a firm grip on their spot as number one in the poll, with Florida State (2-0) moving up to the number two spot after Clemson Tiger's (2-0) disappointing performance against the Troy Trojans (1-1).
