***WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY remains in effect for parts of our viewing area due to hazardous travel conditions from snowfall***

***A WIND CHILL ADVISORY is in effect for the Plateau as wind chills will be dangerously cold and could be as low as -5° to -10°***

Roads will remain very slick overnight and into Wednesday morning. Travel should be avoided if possible!

Wednesday: There will be a few spots of lingering snow flurries and maybe a couple light stray snow showers around the Smokies in the morning, but those should pass by relatively quickly. Get ready to greet the sun again today! Despite partly sunny skies, temperatures will still struggle to reach the lower to middle 20s and winds out of the north at 5-10 mph will keep wind chills in the single digits and teens all day. Cover as much skin as possible with hats, gloves and scarves and dress in layers if you have to be outside. Untreated back roads will remain slick and could be hazardous. Use extra caution!

Rest of the week: We'll begin a slow warming trend for the end of the week with highs in the 30s on Thursday, 40s on Friday and 50s by the weekend! Our next chance of rain arrives late Sunday evening.

Stay warm and be safe on the roads!!
