Tonight: Partly cloudy and mild. Lows will be in the upper 30s and lower 40s with light winds.

Monday: A frontal boundary will move through the region bringing scattered showers to the area. The rain will arrive by mid-afternoon on the Plateau and into the Valley and Smokies through the late afternoon and evening. Rainfall totals will generally be between 1/4" and 1/2" but isolated higher totals will be possible. Highs will reach the lower 60s and winds will become breezy out of the south at 10-15 mph, gusting to 20 mph. Winds will be stronger in the higher elevations of the Plateau and Smokies where gusts could reach 30-40 mph. Temperatures will fall into the lower 40s Monday night with gusty winds continuing into Tuesday morning.

Tuesday: Breezy winds will drive cooler air into the region and temperatures will hold steady in the 40s into the afternoon before dropping through the evening. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy and wrap around moisture could bring a few flurries to the higher elevations Tuesday evening and night. Little to no accumulation is expected. Lows Tuesday night will be in the upper 20s to near 30 degrees.

Rest of the week: High pressure returns for Wednesday through Friday with highs in the upper 40s on Wednesday and 50s on Thursday and Friday.
