A strong front is expected to approach East Tennessee on Thursday night and it will bring our next best chance of thunderstorms.
There are increasing chances of rain as the day progresses into Thursday night and early Friday morning.
Thursday afternoon also has a chance for some spotty showers.

10News Meteorologist Matt Sanderson said Knoxville has a 6.1-inch rainfall deficit from the amount the city should receive for this time of year.
Sanderson said it could rain up to .5 inch total in Knoxville by Friday morning.
High temperatures Thursday are still expected in the mid-80s.
The last significant rain in East Tennessee was on Sept. 25, according to the WBIR Weather’s Team’s calendar.
