Everything you ever wanted to know about square dancing can be learned and experienced this weekend at the Laurel Theater's "Dare To Be Square" celebration. You can dosey-doe now through Sunday.

On Friday The Square Room has Ten Bartram. This band features two sisters with soothing vocals and a tight sound. Tickets are $10 for all ages. Show starts at 8:00 pm.

The Ice Bears are at home this weekend. On Friday the Columbus Cottonmouths come to town. The game starts at 7:30 pm.

We head to the Bijou Theatre Friday for a night with folk singer/songwriter Iris DeMent. DeMent has collaborated with greats like John Prine and Ralph Stanley. Tickets are $26.50. Show starts at 8:00 pm.

Probably one of the most famous ventriloquists in the biz, Jeff Dunham is bringing his friends and talents to the Knoxville Coliseum Saturday night. The show is set to start at 5:00 pm.

Texas A&M will be in town Saturday for an interconference battle with the Vols. You can catch the game on tv, but of course it's more fun to see it live at Thompson Boling. Tip off is at 6:00 pm.

Maryville will play host to The Del McCoury Band along with Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver Saturday night. The show will be at The Clayton Arts Center starting at 7:00 pm.

The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra will take you back in time with the sounds of 70s group ABBA. Tickets start as low as $17. The show starts Saturday night at 8:00 pm.

If you are currently planning for that "big day" you may want to head to the Convention Center for the Knoxville Pink Bridal Show. They have everything a new bride could want. The show starts Sunday at 11:00 am.
