The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra gets things started this weekend at the Tennessee Theatre. Enjoy the works of Strauss, Mozart and Tchaikovsky Thursday and Friday stating at 7:30 pm. Tickets start as low as $11.

Thursday at Ijams Nature Center, enjoy a night of adult fun at the Ijams Happy Hour Full Moon Hike. Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be served before heading out on the trails for a full moon hike. Pre-registration is required.

The Blount County Friends of the Library Book Sale takes place this weekend. There are plenty of deals to be found at the Blount County Library for the general public Friday and Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Fans of all things fishing want to head to the Jacob Building at Chilhowee Park for the East Tennessee Fishing Show. The event runs through Sunday. Tickets for adults are $8.

Friday night the Knoxville Ice Bears are at home in the Coliseum. The Bears will be taking on the Huntsville Havoc as they celebrate Duck Dynasty Tribute night. The game starts at 7:30 pm.

If you're at Market Square Friday, stop by The Square Room for a night of music with Sara Groves and special guest Greg Adkins. The show starts at 8:00 pm with tickets going for $25 at the door.

One of the largest gymnastics competitions in the region will be on display this weekend at the Knoxville Convention Center. Over 3,000 athletes will compete at the Ozone Invitational through Sunday.

Get outside and help the YWCA this Saturday at the YWCA Diversity Day & Race Against Racism 5k. The festivities start at 11:00 am outside the YWCA Phyllis Wheatley Center. The race starts at 1:00 pm.

Wallace Coleman will bring his harmonica and his talents to the Laurel Theater Saturday night. Coleman has toured with some of blues music's finest. Tickets for the evening are $14. The show starts at 8:00 pm.

Thompson Boling Arena will be filled with the sounds of country music Saturday night when Luke Bryan takes the stage. Luke is joined by Lee Brice and Cole Swindell. Tickets start around $30. The show starts at 7:30 pm.

If you're in Gatlinburg on Sunday, you may want to bring the family over to the Convention Center for the Rez-Kids event. There's entertainment for everyone. The event starts at 6:30 pm.

We end the weekend at the Bijou Theatre Sunday night. The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra will host a celebration concert in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. starting at 6:00 pm. Admission is free.
