Jonathan Jones has a rundown of fun events going on around town this weekend.

Downtown Sevierville should be a nice place for an outdoor movie Thursday evening. Despicable Me 2 will be on display along with activities for the whole family. Stop by the Bruce Street Gazebo at 7:00 pm. The cost is free.

The North American Flute Foundation is holding its second annual festival in Townsend this weekend. 33 performers will be featured at this one of a kind event. Head to the Heritage Center from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm through Sunday.

Actors from the Knoxville Children's Theater will take you on a magic carpet ride with Disney's "Aladdin". The first performance will be Friday night. The show runs through June 22nd. For showtimes checkout www.knoxvillechildrenstheater.com.

The Tennessee Theatre has a new digital projector and to celebrate they'll have a free screening of "Back To The Future". The movie starts Friday at 7:00 pm or stop by at 5:30 pm for a behind the scenes look at the historic theatre.

Sevier County will hold its annual Relay for Life at Patriot Park in Pigeon Forge. This event serves as a celebration and remembrance of those who've battled cancer. Festivities kick off Friday at 4:00 pm and don't stop until Saturday morning at 10:00 am.

WDVX Presents the 10th Annual Bob Dylan's Birthday Bash on Market Square Friday. A long list of musical acts will be on hand starting at 5:00 pm. It's more fun entertainment for the low cost of nothing.

Also, Unknown Hinson will be shredding his six string at Scruffy City Hall Friday night. The show is for persons 21 and over. Hinson takes the stage at 10:00 pm.

Downtown Athens will be busy with their annual MooFest on Saturday. If it has to do with dairy, you'll find it here. They even have a mooing contest. The event runs most of the day.

Fans of Jane Austen want to head to the Ramsey House for a day filled with readings of Jane's work, period actors and much, much more. the event takes place Saturday from 10;00 am to 4:00 pm. Admission is $10.

Steampunk Carnivale is back for year two with lots to offer. If you haven't experienced retro-futuristic, industrial Victorian era culture...well, maybe it's about time. Head to 510 Williams Street in downtown Knoxville. The event is Saturday from noon to 10:00 pm.

The TWRA will offer free fishing Saturday at The Cove at Concord Park. Fee hot dogs and snacks will be on hand along with fishing equipment provided by the TWRA. Free fishing is from 8:00 am until noon.

And if you can squeeze anymore into this weekend, Hot Rod Magazine's Power Tour stops by Chilhowee Park on Sunday. More than 4,500 hot rods and performance vehicles will be featured. The event runs from noon to 7:00 pm.
