A rundown of this weekend's events in East Tennessee.

Halloween weekend is a busy one!

Knoxville Symphony Orchestra presents its Young People's Concerts at the Civic Auditorium on Thursday. There will be narration, props, costumes and more. The show is at 10:45 a.m. 

Ijams Nature Center will host Halloween hikers on Thursday. Take the kids on a walk around the park for free. Registration is required. It starts at 11 a.m. 

Gatlinburg will host its Halloween Spooktacular on Thursday. There will be free food for the children, a costume contest, trick-or-treating and more. Registration is free. It starts at 5:30 p.m.

Oak Ridge will host their Children's Halloween Party on Thursday. Admission is free, but activities require tickets. Single tickets are 25 cents or $5 for 25. It starts at 6 p.m.

Dogwood Arts will host two events this week on Thursday and Saturday. Head to Wilson Fine Gardens for a Fall Open House at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday and learn about planting properly at Ellenburg Nursery on Saturday at 10 a.m. 

The town of Farragut will host its annual Freaky Friday Fright Nite on Friday. Dress up and trick-or-treat at Mayor Bob Leonard Park. It starts at 5 p.m.

Enjoy a Fall Festival at the Historic Southern Railway Station on Friday. There will be funnel cakes, games, a haunted house and more. The cost is $5. It starts at 6 p.m.

The Ice Bears will take on the Huntsville Havoc on Friday. The game starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Civic Coliseum. Tickets range in price. 

This weekend you can trick-or-treat in the Historic Cherokee Caverns. Tickets are $8. Children 3 and under are free. The fun lasts from Friday to Monday, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Knoxville Children's Theatre will present "The Haunting of Hill House" on Friday. Showings will be on Thursdays and Fridays at 7 p.m., Saturdays at 1 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. The play continues through November 13th. 

The Tennessee Theatre will host a free 'Costumes and Classic Cartoons Open House' on Saturday. Enjoy Looney Toons, face painting and more. It lasts from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Backstage Dance Company will host a Trunk or Treat, Car Show and Swap Meet on Saturday. There will be food, raffles and more. It starts at 10 a.m. at the Golden Gloves Arena in Chilhowee Park.

Enjoy 'Mugglecon' on Saturday and Sunday at Barnes & Noble in West Knoxville. Quidditch teams will be on hand, and there is a Harry Potter costume contest. It starts at 10 a.m.

The Fanboy Expo returns to the Knoxville Convention Center for Halloween weekend. Meet stars from Hocus Pocus, the Munsters, Weird Science and more. Shows start Friday at 4 p.m. and continue through Sunday.
