10 About Town 9/15-9/18

From festivals, to fundraisers, to the fair - we have a packed weekend in East Tennessee. Rachel Downs has it all lined up for you in this week's 10 About Town.

Take a climbing class on Thursday at Ijams. The class is the first in a three-part series, and it is $25 to join. It starts at 5 p.m. 
"Food Trucks and the Farmers Market" returns to the Historic Southern Railway Station on Thursday. Enjoy food, music, shopping and more. It starts at 6 p.m., and admission is free. 
The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra will open its 81st season at the Tennessee Theatre on Thursday and Friday. Both shows begin at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. Tickets range in price. 
It's the last weekend to catch "Violet" at the Clarence Brown Theatre. The show is filled with bluegrass, folk and gospel tunes. Catch it Thursday and Friday at 7:30 p.m. or Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets range in price. 
The Helen Ross McNabb Center will host the annual Recovery Fair on Friday in Market Square. The organization will promote awareness concerning substance abuse and addiction from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
Movies on Market Square continues on Friday with Legally Blonde. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. The movie starts at 7 p.m., and is free. 
Catch Scott Miller and the Commonwealth at the Bijou Theatre on Friday. Show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20. 
The Knoxville Flea Market returns to the Expo Center Friday through Sunday. Shop for antiques, jewelry, crafts, candles and more. Doors open at 3 p.m. on Friday. 
Saturday the Vols take on the Ohio Bobcats. The game starts at noon at Neyland Stadium. 
Celebrate "Arts in the Park" in Morristown on Saturday. Enjoy music, theater and art demonstrations. It starts at 10 a.m. at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park. 
Marble Springs Historic Site will host its John Sevier Days on Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy crafts, cooking and demonstrations. The site is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
Sunday is the Knoxville Jazz Orchestra's "Evening Under the Stars" at the home of Sherri Lee. Enjoy a night of dining and dancing from 6 to 9 p.m. You can find more information here.
"Healthy Taste of Knoxville" is Sunday. Enjoy a free taste of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free foods from 1 to 4:30 p.m. You can find more information here.
It's the last weekend to catch "Title of Show" at Theatre Knoxville Downtown. Tickets to the show are $15, and the final showing is Sunday at 3 p.m. 
The Dumplin Valley Bluegrass Festival is this weekend in Kodak. Tickets range in price. You can find more information here
The Tennessee Valley Fair continues through Sunday. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for Senior Citizens and free for children under 5. You can find a full list of events here.
