'Body Farm' authors to visit local book stores

The tenth and final book in the “Body Farm” series comes out Tuesday, and you can meet its authors.

Dr. William Bass and author Jon Jefferson will stop by a number of area book stores this week to sign copies of “Without Mercy,” their thriller that follows the fictional forensic anthropologist Dr. Bill Brockton after he is called to investigate skeletal remains found chained to a tree.

Dr. William Bass is the founder of the University of Tennessee's Anthropological Research Facility, known as the Body Farm. The Body Farm book series follows a fictional version of the facility. They are co-authored by Bass and Jon Jefferson under the pen name Jefferson Bass.
