Oak Ridge to hold a 9/11 memorial service

OAK RIDGE, TENNESSEE - On Sunday, September 11, the Oak Ridge Fire Department and the Oak Ridge High School 9/11 WTC Committee will join together to remember the tragic events that happened 15 years ago on September 11, 2001. 

There will be a group meeting to officially unveil the new flagpole added this past year and dedicate it in memory of the victims of 9/11. 

Community members are encouraged to attend. 

The ceremony will start at 7:45 a.m. and will be held at the bus loop at Oak Ridge High School near Providence Road.
