The Lantern Alzheimer's Care Community opened its doors to residents for the first time Thursday.
The Lenoir City facility is specifically structured to meet the needs of individuals living with the disease.
Morning Pointe also announced that they plan to build a similar facility in North Knoxville in the coming months.
