While the individual mandate aspect of the Affordable Care Act received nationwide attention, few people know about a provision of the law that has a much wider impact-- the Essential Health Benefits provision.
Its aim is to protect people from being under-insured.
To better explain the law and what it means for Tennesseans, the state is hosting six public forums.
