Cantaloupes harvested from a southwestern Indiana farm are being linked to a salmonella outbreak that has killed two people in Kentucky and made Tennesseans sick.

Kentucky health officials say in addition to the two deaths, the outbreak has made more than 50 people sick.

Tennessee health officials have identified six cases of salmonella associated with the outbreak. The patients were from different counties, and three had to be hospitalized.

Nationwide, more than 150 people have gotten sick.

Health officials in both states say to check where your cantaloupes are from before eating the fruit.
