A local pharmacy wants to make sure all area kids get their vitamins.
Belew Drug just started a free multivitamin program for kids.
New this school year, any parent can sign up their child and get free chewable multivitamins each month.
Belew Drug says it knows even with a healthy diet, kids can still miss important nutrients. It wants to make sure all local children have access to a good multivitamin.
"If we can start them early with understanding the importance of a complete, balanced diet, part of that being vitamin and mineral supplementation, the better start they get," said David Belew.
Belew Drug is a family-owned pharmacy that's been in the Knoxville area since 1965. There are three locations: Broadway Shopping Center, Asheville Highway, and Washington Pike.
