SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- A Tennessee company that operates a detoxification center in South Dakota's Minnehaha County says it was never informed of patient care and safety allegations.
Correct Care Solutions in a statement to the Argus Leader newspaper calls claims by current and former staff members "unsubstantiated" and says it is "unfortunate" the workers expressed them publically.
Those employees allege the facility is unclean and unsafe. County commissioners are investigating the allegations.
Correct Care Solutions says the detox center has passed every inspection and that the company works closely with the county to ensure the services are meeting the county's expectations.
