Do you know an amazing kid? Do you have a friend who is between the ages of 5 and 18 who has done something out of the ordinary that you think people in our community would be amazed about? Do you know of a child in the East Tennessee area that is an extraordinary volunteer, has an amazing talent or has shown impressive service to their community?

We want to hear about the Amazing Kid that you know! Click here to print out the 10 Amazing Kids application and tell us why the child you are recommending should be recognized as one of our 10 Amazing Kids for 2008. We are looking for outstanding youngsters who have done something amazing: overcome an incredible physical or emotional situation, demonstrated outstanding talent and achievement through their art, or exhibited a passion for helping to make life better for others.

If you know of an amazing kid that fits this description between the ages of 5 and 18 who you think would make a great candidate, please let us know by sending us their information on the 10 Amazing Kids application. Ten young people will be selected, will receive a special award and be featured in a report on "Live at 5" in April.

All applications must be received at WBIR-TV 10 located at 1513 Hutchinson Avenue in Knoxville by Monday, February 11, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. Recipients will be notified in March and their amazing stories will be profiled on WBIR-TV in April and May 2008.
