Pentatonix is getting into the Christmas spirit early this year with some help from Tennessee country legend Dolly Parton.
The group is drumming up excitement for the upcoming release with the help of Dolly. The two recorded a duet of Dolly's hit song "Jolene" as part of Cracker Barrel's Spotlight Music program when the two met in Nashville.
The American a cappella group that got their big break on NBC's show "The Sing-Off" is recording the album "A Pentatonix Christmas" that's set to release on October 21. The album will feature a combination of classic holiday tracks and modern favorites, as well as some original music written by the group.
Dolly is touring in Canada and the Northwest for her Pure & Simple Tour and will be back to perform in Pigeon Forge on November 15.
Pentatonix will be coming to Memphis on November 3 for their World Tour. The group will also be performing in Greenville, SC on the same day Dolly is scheduled to perform in Pigeon Forge on November 15.
