1 cup sugar
Remove the peel of two lemons with a zester.
Mix the peel with one cup of granulated sugar and store in a sealed container in the refrigerator or a cool dry place.
1 pint of blackberries
1 pint of blueberries
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of Smoky Mountain Blackberry Moonshine
Place all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to boil. Turn heat down to simmer and cook until berries are soft and liquid resembles syrup.
Cut a Krispy Kreme glazed donut in half. Heat your griddle. Butter the inside of the donut and place it on the griddle. Cook until golden brown.
Place the donut grilled side up in a bowl. Add one scoop of Hilton Head Vanilla Bean ice cream. Spoon onto that the blackberry mixture. Sprinkle with lemon sugar and garnish with a sprig of mint. Enjoy!
