Sour Cream Pound Cake


3 cups plain flour

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

2 sticks butter - softened

3 cups sugar

6 eggs

1 cup sour cream

1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring

1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring

Sift flour & baking soda 3 times, set aside. Cream butter, slowly add sugar, add eggs one at a time and mix well after each addition. Add sour cream then add flour mixture a little at a time. Stir in flavorings. Pour into a greased & floured tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Garnish with powdered sugar & fruit.
