One pound crab meat, free of shells
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
1/4 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Worcestershire
1 teaspoon of garlic
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon of Old Bay
Black pepper to taste
In large bowl, mix together all ingredients. Shape into crab cakes, 3 to 4 oz size patties.
Blackened Crab Cakes
Crab cakes, blackened seasoning and melted butter, black iron pan
Thaw crab cakes if frozen. Heat black iron pan. Coat pan with melted butter.
Season one side of crab cake with blackened seasoning. Put seasoned side down on pan. Coat top of crab cake with seasoning. Flip crab cake once bottom is ready; cook until done. You can flip couple of times if needed. Serve with salad, potatoes and bread
