Donna's Old Town Cafe: Sour Cream Apple Pie

Sour cream apple pie

Cold pre-made pie shell

Pie filling

4 crisp apples peeled and sliced in a little lemon juice and water.

In a bowl mix together:

1 egg

1 cup sour cream

1 cup sugar

2 tbs flour

1/2 tsp. vanilla

1/4 tsp. salt

Add apples and pour Into pie shell. Bake at 400 for 30 minutes.

Topping

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/3 cup flour

1/4 cup chilled and diced butter

Mix together topping; Sprinkle on baked pie. Bake at 350 for 15 more minutes. Allow the pie to cool, then refrigerate until chilled before serving.
