Mexican Alambres - Mexican Skewers


2 Large Red Bell Peppers sliced

2 Large Green Bell Peppers sliced

1 Medium Onion Sliced

16 ounces of Steak (Sirloin, Flap Meat)

16 ounces of Chicken Breast

1 tablespoon of cooking oil

Salt, pepper and/ or seasoning to taste

4 Skewers sticks


Add 1 tablespoon of oil to the Grill. Grill the steak and chicken for 3 to 4 minutes. Add vegetables to the grill (green and red bell peppers and onions) and make sure not to overcook. Add seasonings.

For an outstanding serving presentation insert the meat and vegetables in a color pattern. We recommend the Steak, green bell pepper, chicken, white onion chunk, steak, chicken and red bell peppers to recreate the colors of the Mexican Flag.

Serve the ALAMBRES (skewers) on a bed of Spanish rice, garnish with sweet fried plantains, homemade guacamole and beans.
