Salisbury Steak

1 1/2 lbs. ground beef

3/4 c. bread crumbs

1 egg

Salt and pepper

1 T. flour

1/4 c. ketchup

1/4 c. water

1 1/2 T. Worcestershire sauce

Dash mustard

1 can each condensed French onion soup and condensed cream of mushroom soup

Mix ground beef, bread crumbs,egg, half of each soup, salt and pepper. Shape into patties; brown both sides on medium high heat. Remove and drain grease. In a small bowl add flour, remaining soup and mix well. Then mix in ketchup, water and Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Pour over meat in skillet or baking dish; cover and cook approximately 20 minutes. If baking bake at 375 for about 30 minutes. Also great with sautéed onions and mushrooms.
