Scotch Eggs


  • 10 Hardboiled Eggs
  • 2 packs of Wimple's Sausage
  • 2 tablespoon of Parsley
  • 2 tablespoon of Thyme
  • 1 oz. Paprika
  • Bread crumbs
  • 4 raw Eggs
  • 3 cups of Flour


  1. Boil eggs in water for 8 minutes. Let cool for 15 minutes. Peel all shells off the eggs, by placing all the eggs in cold water
  2. Mix the seasonings in the raw sausage and parsley
  3. With an ounce scale weigh out 3 ½ oz. sausage balls
  4. Sprinkle flour on a cutting board, then smash out a sausage ball until flat
  5. Take an egg, make sure its dry, and round the egg in the sausage
  6. Mold the sausage to an egg shape. Do the rest of eggs the same
  7. Take a rolled egg with sausage, dip it in the egg wash, completely
  8. Then roll the egg in flour and then breadcrumbs, completely
  9. Mold into an egg. Do the rest of eggs the same
  10. Take all wrapped eggs to the fryer
  11. In 300 degrees fryer, fry the eggs for 6 minutes
  12. Place in a 350 degree oven for 6 minutes
