Waldorf Slaw

1/4 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon celery seed

2 sweet/tart apples, cut into match sticks

2 ribs celery, very thinly sliced

2 carrots, shredded

1 cup cabbage, shredded, optional

1/2 cup English walnuts, very coarsely chopped

1/2 cup golden raisins

1 tablespoon freshly chopped parsley

Salt and pepper to taste

Bacon bits

In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar,sugar and celery seed. Add remaining ingredients and stir gently.

Season and chill until serving time.
