Little Ponderosa Zoo
Little Ponderosa Zoo and Rescue began as a zoo, then grew to include an exotic animal rescue.
Now about 98 percent of the zoo's occupants are rescues.
Little Ponderosa Zoo and Rescue is located at 629 Granite Road in Clinton.
Admission is $8 for children ages 3 -16, $10 for adults and $8 for seniors (adults ages 64 and older). Children under the age of 2 can enter for free.

Run for the Classics
The seventh annual Run for the Classics 5K and Family Fun Walk will be held on Saturday, September 29 at 9 a.m. in Victor Ashe Park.
The course is certified.
The proceeds benefit Paideia Academy, a classical Christian school in Knoxville. The money will be used to fund need-based scholarships and a new playground.

All Boys and Girls Club alumni are invited to a Reignite reunion open house on Wednesday, September 26.
