So get this.
Back-to-back Oscar nominee -- and last year's best actress winner -- Jennifer Lawrence was not the first choice to play the lead in Silver Linings Playbook.
Her performance as a dance-obsessed widow won her the Oscar. But it was meant for Anne Hathaway, Harvey Weinstein, whose studio released the film, told Howard Stern.
"Silver Linings Playbook was originally gonna be with Mark Wahlberg with Anne Hathaway ... and then Anne wasn't doing it. She's marvelous, and wonderful, and she was my choice.
We had Annie and then we had Mark, and then whatever happened happened. (Director) David [O. Russell] and Anne had some creative differences. ... They didn't see eye to eye," Weinstein told Stern.
It's all good, though. Hathaway won her Oscar for Les Miserables anyway. And Lawrence earned another nomination yesterday for American Hustle.
