Zombieland brings new life to the living-dead genre in this horror/comedy/satire.
A plague has turned humankind into flesh-eating zombies, leaving only a handful of humans trying to survive. Woody Harrelson plays Tallahassee, a trigger-happy good ol' boy with a hankering for Twinkies and a knack for killing zombies. He teams up with a college kid named Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg), a survivor despite being a bundle of phobias. The two run into sisters Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin), who have been on the grift since the plague. The foursome heads west to Hollywood (where they encounter a certain movie star) and to an amusement park that is supposed to be zombie-free.
USA TODAY's Claudia Puig says: *** (out of four). "Zombieland laces a gentle drollness through all the bloody mayhem. Mostly, it's just wicked fun."
