For the third year in a row, Adventure Scuba Diving held an underwater pumpkin carving contest.

"It's a great way for us to have fun and to get out the word about scuba diving," says Mike Goss of Adventure Scuba Diving.

About a dozen divers cleaned out their pumpkins, weighed them down with five pound weights, and dove to the bottom of the quarry in Philadelphia, Tennessee. All were hoping to emerge victorious and win a new regulator.

"This is something we will do every year," says long time diver Frank Smith.

Most agree that carving a jack-o-lantern underwater is a little more difficult than doing it on the kitchen table.

"There's never a mess, and the fish love it," said one diver.

In the end, Debra Smith's angel fish pumpkin took the top prize.
