Jacqueline Dawes went though a bad patch herself, having lost her daughter to the drug Ecstasy. The loss turned her life upside down. Her marriage broke up and she wrestled with feelings of grief and shame...shame at how her daughter had died.

Now eight years after that devastating loss, Jacqueline Dawes has turned her life around and last April opened Brookhaven Retreat.

Brookhaven Retreat is a residential treatment facility for women who are facing emotional and substance abuse challenges.
