Replicas of Nina and Pinta at Volunteer Landing

If you were near Volunteer Landing Thursday, you might have noticed two unconventional ships on the river.

Replicas of the Nina and the Pinta traveled up the river and docked near Calhouns. The original ships were part of the three-boat fleet that carried Christopher Columbus on his first voyage from Spain to the Americas.

The replicas will be open for tours tomorrow through November 5th at Volunteer Landing. Go here for details.
