Who set fire to historic Elkmont cabins?

Park service investigators are looking for witnesses who may have seen who started the fire that damaged several historic cabins that will eventually be restored.

Officials at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park hope someone can help them identify who started a fire that damaged some historic cabins.

The fire was in the Daisy Town section of the Elkmont Historic District on November 29 at 10 a.m.. The damaged cabins were among those that will be rehabilitated and preserved. Luckily, rangers were able to keep the damage to a minimum.

IN DEPTH: Elkmont will shine
