Sevierville — Sevierville Police are investigating a Wednesday night shooting that injured one man.
It happened at 10:45 p.m. on Middle Creek Road in Sevierville. Police say James Raney, 47, and Steven Ogle, 40, were involved a physical fight when Raney shot Ogle in the face with a handgun.
Ogle was conscious and alert at the scene; he was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center for treatment.
There are no charges filed at this time. Detectives are still investigating what happened and what led to the dispute.
