It could be another year or two before the economy shows significant growth, according to a new report from UT.
According to the report, modest unemployment gains, an uptick on consumer spending on vehicles, and some improvements in the housing industry, are all indicators the U.S. and Tennessee economies are inching toward recovery.
The report's author says growth should improve in 2013 and should be much stronger by 2014.
