No surprise that Powerball winner hasn't come forward

Two days ago, a lottery ticket purchased in East Tennessee made someone very, very rich.

We still don't know who that lucky person is, and if history is any indication, that's not too much of a surprise.

Lottery officials say the winning ticket in Wednesday's $259.8 million dollar Powerball Jackpot was bought in Knoxville, but they're still not saying where. The lucky retailer will get $25,000 for selling the lucky ticket.

It's the second jackpot lottery win in Tennessee this year.

A mother and son from Middle Tennessee won a Mega Millions Jackpot in January. They waited seven days before coming forward to claim the prize.

The jackpot winner has 178 days left to claim the prize, which would be December 8th.
