"Every good thing must come to and end," owner Pete Zaring said. The Knoxville Cigar Company has been hit hard by the recession and will close within six weeks.

The building in which the retail outfit and bar are located has been for sale for a short period of time.

The cigar company will liquidate its stock over the next few weeks. Zaring plans to keep all employees on staff until the liquidation is over, if they wish to stay.
