Neighbors are in the process of starting "The 100 Block Association" to give residents and business owners in the area a louder voice.

With classes back underway at schools and colleges all over Tennessee, we're taking an in-depth look at binge drinking.

Environmentalists and coal-industry representatives squared off Monday in the first public hearing on proposals to tighten regulations on coal ash.

UT extended the deadline for requesting football tickets after a software glitch prevented many students from accessing the online ticket system.

Investigators with the Knoxville Police Department say the driver of a KAT Lift Bus is dead after an accident Monday morning.  They believe the driver may have had a medical condition that caused her to lose control of the vehicle and hit a pole.

The group will spend Monday night in Smyrna and be out-processed on Tuesday before returning home.

250 to lose jobs in Knoxville

According to the state's Department of Labor and Workforce Development,  250 people will be losing their job when the American Book Warehouse closes its doors.

Knox County students will soon be selling school coupon books.  The annual fund-raising sale will be Sept. 23 through Oct. 8, 2010.
