Corvette is now the official state sports car of Kentucky.
Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear signed a bill Tuesday making the Corvette the state's sports car. According to a release, General Motors moved production of the car from St. Louis, Mo to Bowling Green, Ky in 1981.
Tourists come to not only see the plant with a staff of 471 people building the cars, but also to see the National Corvette museum nearby.
