The city of Dandridge has made the list as one of the Dozen Distinctive Destinations for 2011 according to the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
According to a release, Vice Mayor Mike Chambers and Commissioner Susan Whitaker will recieve a plaque at a ceremony on Tuesday morning.
The award recognizes the city for offering cultural and recreational activities different from typical destinations.
