Authorities in Kentucky have identified a miner who was killed in an accident in Harlan County on Wednesday..
David Partin, 46, was killed when an underground roof collapsed.
Partin was working at the Manalapan Mining Companies's P-1 mine when the roof caved in.
The mine has been closed, and officials from the Kentucky Office of Mine Safety and Licensing are investigating the incident.
This was the second mine fatality in Kentucky this year.
